I have come out the other side of my ass (see feeling sorry for myself) after the realization that there are plenty of people who want to kick me in the nuts randomly and for free. I don't need to make an emotional investment on someone who wants the job full time. Fuck that. So my neighbor is going through a similar situation but he has an ended engagement that was supposed to be realized at the end of this month (a week before the vows). Needless to say he is a basket case. So your trusted and true author went into clutch mode. Made dinner, had good cigars and a really nice after dinner amaretto to settle dinner.
I know, you want dinner details to not read about. I made a simple mesquite chicken with baby green peas a salad of Boston/Butter lettuce and a fresh loaf of bread. Again, simple but really good. The kid is back in the saddle again, and this time (I hope) I am ready for the trail.
