Well, I can't say that I am down with anyone at this point. Saying I "get" where someone is coming from without being in their shoes is bullshit. However, not having empathy for others and their situation is equally bullshit, dear non-readers (except for those of you in Indonesia who keep mistaking this for a porn site, I love you most, except Germany and Russia...not really, I still love you more, Indonesia). You may or may not be aware that we are in the throws of a political election that means nothing in the long run as either of the candidates will do nothing but point the finger at the former regime to save their own ass as is norm.
Many will tell me that I am being too cynical but the reality is that they are usually a half to a full generation older than I am and can count on my dollars subsidizing their aging years. Not to mention they were reaching their peak earning years when I was told to go to school and work 3 jobs. Fuck them. I can take care of me and mine. Don't need em or their ilk and I don't want your government handouts either before you ask. Basically, what I'm looking for is people getting off my ass for shit my generation didn't start.
Let's be honest here. This is no different than people living on the margin in the 20's and then the piper called. In the 80's and 90's, hell, even the early part of the 2000's people were living on credit in this country. THAT'S LIVING ON THE MARGIN, FOLKS. And were encourage to do so. Can you dig it? This country was living on money that wasn't there, and now people are scrambling to point the finger of responsibility at each other. I don't mean to say that my generation is without blame. We do it too. Monkey see, monkey do after all and not learning from history. I guess I'm just tired of this asinine bullshit of Obama will do or won't do this. And the blind obedience of Mitt effing Romney is going to solve everything because he's Republican.
