So my compadre had his brother-in-law in town a few weeks ago. He and his wife took him to one of the large Vietnamese grocery stores here. Well, b-i-l decided that a snack pack of "prepared squid" and "hot flavor" sounded completely rational. I took pictures and emailed them to myself, but the images have yet to show up. I cannot, however, let this post linger.
It came in a bright pink package and can only be described as Squid Jerky. It is very tough and chewy, has an unpleasant fish taste (and I love a strong fish flavor), and my co-author said his dog goes apeshit for it. Great; that's awesome. No really stop selling. I'm sold, I'm sold. This is truly the most foul of snack foods. Pictures will be posted when they come in.
